As Edge Band Production Line, we provide our customers with services they need to design appropriate machines. With these services consisting of installation, training and after-sales services, we offer you your turnkey edge band production line with no problems and help in any situation.
EDGE BAND TYPES AND FEATURES
Edge bands can be produced in different types from different raw materials. These productions are related to customers' preferences. But we offer our customers turnkey edge band production lines for all kinds of raw materials in all kinds of raw materials and cover all their services. The following are types of edge bands and conditions of use of each.
PVC EDGE BANDS
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) edge band is a high quality and pressure resistant thermoplastic tape which is produced depending on artificial regulators and PVC.
Due to its flexible structure of PVC edge bands, it is very suitable for easy processing.
PVC Edgeband can be used with all the classic hot melt adhesive (EVA, PA, PO, and PUR) on edge machines.
Ideal for straight and curved edgebanding.
It is mostly used in flakeboard and MDF band.
ABS EDGE BANDS
ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) Edgeband is a high-quality, pressure-resistant thermoplastic tape produced by artificial regulators and ABS.
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Edge tapes are used in coverslip and MDF bands with easily machinable structures.
Can be used with all classic hot melt adhesive (EVA, PA, PO, and PUR) on edge machines.
ABS edge band which durable against impacts and high temperatures is preferred for being environmentally friendly.
ACRYLIC (PMMA) EDGE BANDS
Acrylic (PMMA-polymethyl methacrylate) edge band is a high quality, pressure-resistant thermoplastic tape.
It is recommended to use uncoated EVA-based adhesives or PUR-based adhesives with high insertion strength for PMMA edgebanding.
PMMA or acrylic edgebanding is often used in applications where design is emphasized.
It is robust, durable and scratch resistant.
This glass-like material is ideal for 3D effects.
